All-pearl rosaries are very scarce, especially older ones, and this is a nice example having all the hand-carved M.O.P. beads present and a nicely detailed low-relief carved crucifix, unmarked but possibly of Italian origin rather than from the Holy Land.
18 3/8" total length, the beads 1/4"-3/8" in diameter, and the cross 1 7/8"x1 1/16". The chain is brass, as is the stamped pierced floral motif centerpiece. The silver plating on the chain around the centerpiece area has been worn down to the brass from handling, but otherwise everything is in fine condition, and with no damage or internal flaws in the MOP beads or crucifix. An uncommon and attractive piece of religious history!

Pearlescence and chatoyance predominate, with occasional amber, linens, china, and select "smalls".
