Charming circa 1905 Edwardian Antique Child’s White Organza Tea dress with matching petticoat. Youth sizes from this era can be tough to find and this one is a gem. Dress and petticoat are constructed from a sheer crisp organza material, not sure about the fiber as it is made so tightly that there is not a loose end to test. The dress features a large rounded collar, short sleeves and scalloped petticoat and skirt edges. Copious ruffled organdy ribbon trim and edging throughout. The dress opens in back with tiny snaps and hooks.
Condition is excellent with no significant flaws to mention. A sound and sturdy dress with no stains, tears or repairs. Two tiny ember holes at the very bottom of the skirt in front is the only flaw I can find. I have not cleaned it and that is the only thing it might benefit from.
Outside dimensions while lying flat: Bust-33, Waist-27, Shoulders-13.5, Overall length-39, Sweep-72.
