Fine 1930s vintage mens tuxedo shirt with a pleated soft front, attached collar and French cuffs. It is constructed from a thin ribbed pique weave cotton and requires removable tuxedo shirt buttons like those shown in the photos, the buttons shown do not come with the shirt. It is tagged “Arrow, Shoreham, Sanforized Shrunk, Made in USA” and the front of the shirt is marked Shoreham Mitoga, 1370 15 33.
Condition is VG/EX with no wear damage, stains or repairs. It was recently hand washed and will be ready to wear after pressing and a little starch.
Outside dimensions of the shirt while lying flat are: 21.5" from arm pit to arm pit straight across, 17" seam to seam across the shoulders, 24" sleeves (from the upper shoulder seam to the bottom of the buttoned cuff edge), and 34" overall length (from top of back collar to the bottom of hem). The neck opening is app 14.5 inches. Please compare these measurements to the outside dimensions of a shirt that fits you well to see if this is a good size for you.
