A fun and extravagant (think Mrs Howell on Gilligan's Island) constructed with brightly colored feathers attached to a natural straw base and there is a draw string chin strap. Made in Mexico in the early 1960's by my estimation. It originally had a label reading "Hecho en Mexico, Casa FloresD. 170 OTE. 217 Moctezuma Mex. 9, D.F."
I have another of these posted right now in violet if you prefer a different color.
Size is universal while the outside diameter measures 16 inches and it stands about 6 inches tall.
Condition is VG with nothing significant to report. The feathers are firmly attached but there is the occasional loose one. Very clean and fresh overall with no dirt, damage or stains. A little wear to the chin strap is the only negative I can find.
