This walnut Victorian wardrobe comes apart in 10 pieces for ease in transporting and getting up staircases. Notice the extensive use of applied panels of burled walnut and the wide ogee shaped cornice. The wardrobe or armoire has 2 doors with working locks and key. Inside is an original shelf and 2 clothes rods that were added later. Shelving can be easily installed for alternate storage design. Notice the large single drawer at the base having its original lock and brass decorative pulls. The finish is in excellent condition. If you look very closely, you will see a small curved piece of molding missing on the bottom of the left door and a small piece of wood missing on the right door bottom edge. These do not affect the function or integrity of the piece. Imagine the storage options with this wardrobe cabinet! 84"h X 56"w X 22"d, Condition: Very Good-Excellent, Circa: 1870's.
