This unusual mahogany barrister bookcase was made by Globe Wernicke. The double wide version is harder to find. The bookcase consists of 7 separate pi8eces: a cap, 5 stacks and a base. Each stack has 2 glass front doors which lift up and slide back for easy access. All have wooden pulls. Two stacks will accommodate books up to 9” tall, one up to 10 ½” tall and one 12” tall. The bookcase rests on a base with scroll feet and 2 drawers. The finish is original and in excellent condition. 61.25"h X 51"w X 12"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1910-1920.
