This solid oak library table or writing desk is in the Art Nouveau style. Look closely and you will see some subtly elegant and unusual details. There is a small dovetailed drawer located at each end of the desk. The end panels have a unique carved ribbed design along their curvaceous sides. There are 2 open shelves below the top with the top shelf being supported by a lyre shaped carving. The table appears to have its original finish which is in excellent condition having a deep rich color and very desirable patina. 28"h X 40"w X 25"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1890-1910.
