This walnut Victorian hall mirror is from the Rococo Revival period and is all original. The boldly carved crest extends 6” beyond the frame with life sized carvings of fruit, nuts and leaves which is beautifully rendered. The crest is highlighted with accents of gold gilt. The deeply molded mirror frame has a gently curved top. The original mirror has a slight hazy effect due to age which only contributes to its charm and character. The finish is original having the richest color and wonderful patina. 64"h X 27"w X 2.5"-6"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1860's.
