This narrow, solid oak desk or vanity chair is a hard to find size! These were generally sold with ladies’ desks or vanities, yet were often separated and lost over time. They are perfect for those narrow openings. The design is Art Nouveau in style. The chair appears delicate but is actually quite stout and sturdy. Notice the shaped plank seat, pierced carved center splat and the unusual carved rail below the seat. The chair rests on slender legs with delicately carved paw feet. The original finish is in excellent condition. The chair frame is extremely tight. 36"h X 15.5"w X 18"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
