This Victorian marble top table has some unique features. The original marble is a hard to find type having a rich mix of colors such as gold, brown and burgundy. In addition, it is called a picture frame marble top due to how the marble is recessed and framed on the outside. The table is extremely curvaceous. Notice the shapely skirt just below the oval top and the 4 bold leaf looking carvings. The top rests on serpentine shaped legs and an intricately carved stretcher. The center of the shapely stretcher displays a boldly turned finial. The table rests on its original casters. The marble and frame are in excellent condition and the table is quite sturdy. The finish is also in excellent condition having a warm color and rich patina. 30"h X 32"w X 20"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1870's.
