This gentleman’s wardrobe is of exceptional quality. The solid mahogany case has many unique storage features. The elegantly designed crest has a delicately carved flame finial and 2 finely carved rosettes. The double doors have shapely recessed panels. Inside is an abundance of storage. There is a large center door originally intended to store hats. To the right are 3 drawers. The smallest drawer has a slide out jewelry or cufflink holder and the medium sized drawer has a divider inside for hanker chiefs or ties. The 3 various drawers to the left are open. Below is a shallow pull out drawer with 2 dividers followed by 4 deeper drawers. The amount of storage this cabinet provides is impressive! The cabinet rests on boldly carved Chippendale ball and claw feet. The back right foot has part of a toe missing. The front right foot has an older professionally repaired foot which is only noticeable upon very close examination. The wardrobe retains its original finish which is in excellent condition having a deep, rich color and patina. 70.75"h X 49"w X 25"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
