This vintage Victorian style vanity or dressing mirror is extremely dramatic. The carvings are extensive and beautifully executed. The top crest is curvaceous having a carved garland of flowers, acanthus leaves and a large shell. Notice the deeply pierced carved flowers and leaves on both sides of the mirror – big and bold! The replaced center mirror is in excellent condition. On either side is a small cabinet having a drawer and a door below. Each attached cabinet measures 18” wide, 15” deep and 29” tall. Notice the delicately carved edges and drawer fronts. The three sides of the cabinet have a carved recessed center panel. The mirror and cabinet rests on a platform with a repeated delicately carved edge. The walnut looking finish is in excellent condition having a few minor dings. This dramatic piece of furniture could serve a myriad of purposes such as a hall entryway piece; a cheval or dressing mirror; or as a vanity or dresser. What a statement this will make in any home! 87"h X 73"w X 15"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1990's.
