This solid oak barrister or stacking bookcase is comprised of 5 separate pieces; a cap, three stacks and a base. Each stack has its original glass and brass knobs. The doors lift up and slide back for easy access. The top 2 stacks will accommodate books up to 9.5” tall. The third stack will hold books up to 11” tall. There is a bottom drawer located in the base having its original brass pulls. This is not your average barrister bookcase due to the raised and recessed panels on the sides – a true sign of quality and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, there is no label to determine who the manufacturer is, but this is definitely a cut above! The finish is original and in excellent condition. The doors open and close smoothly. 45"h X 36"w X 13"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1910.
