This mahogany Vienna regulator wall clock has the desirable Grande Sonnerie chime. The handsome classical looking case has a prominent painted pediment with a delicate leaf carving. The glass door has turned and carved half columns on either side. Notice the narrow glass panels on the sides framed with gold gilt mouldings. The clock drop has boldly carved acanthus leaves and 3 delicately turned finials. The clock retains its original finish which is in excellent condition having a deep rich color and very desirable patina. The clock has its original porcelain clock face, hands, three brass weights and brass pendulum. All are in excellent condition. There is a brass winding key. The clock retains its original 8 day works which requires winding once a week. The clock strikes every 15 minutes using a Grand Sonnerie chiming system. The works are in excellent working condition. All of our clocks are professionally cleaned, oiled and tuned to work perfectly. What a statement this clock will make in your home or office. 53"h X 18"w X 8"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1880's.
