This carved wooden baby shoe may be a German black forest made item. The shoe is designed to hold a book of matches by resting in the slot behind the heel. The top of the shoe holds a brass well serving as an ashtray. The worn looking shoe has wonderful detailing and is finely carved. The shoe has a rich color and patina. 2.5"h X 5.5"w X 2.25"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1910.
