This solid walnut bookcase is from the Renaissance Revival Victorian period. The bookcase comes apart in 4 main pieces for ease in transporting. Notice the boldly designed cornices and carvings above each glass door and the applied burled walnut panels. Each door retains its original lock. The center door has 3 adjustable shelves which are 14” deep. Each of the 2 end doors has 4 adjustable shelves measuring 11” deep. The base has a center drawer with an applied burled walnut panel, carved drawer pulls and its original lock. The finish appears original and is in excellent condition having a warm color and desirable patina. 70"h X 73"w X 19.5"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1870's.
