This hard to find walnut 8-day wall clock is referred to as the Thespian model and was made by the Gilbert Clock Company. Amazingly, the clock is all original and in excellent working condition. The brass movement requires winding once a week and comes with a brass winding key. The ornately carved case is in excellent condition. The original reverse painting on the glass door is original having the scene of a hanging basket of flowers with trailing vines. The brass and painted dial and the brass and wooden pendulum are also original and in excellent condition. This large regulator sized clock will make a statement in any home. 37"h X 13"w X 5"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1890's.
