This ornately cast silver plate Victorian napkin ring has its original owner’s engraved name of Josie. The ring has two cast floral sprigs and rests on a delicately designed base. The castings are wonderfully detailed. Napkin rings were extremely popular during the Victorian period. Because cloth napkins were not necessarily changed every day, these were used to identify its owner and seat at the table. 2.75"h X 2.25"w X 1.75"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1880's.
