This Victorian silver plate napkin ring was made by the Rockford Silver Company and is in the Aesthetic style. The deeply chased design is of stylized flowers surrounding the ring. The base is also extensively decorated. In addition, the original owner’s name, Esther Kasper, is engraved along the edge. Victorian napkin rings were extremely popular. They were placed on the table to identify the individual owner’s cloth napkin and seat at the table. There is some slight silvering loss along the edges and the ring shape is minimally dented. Overall, it is in very good condition. 2.25"h X 3"w X 2.25"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1880's.
