This exceptional pair of Old Paris porcelain vases is beautifully rendered. The vibrant fuchsia background color is highlighted with rich colors of teal, blue, gold and green. Each vase has a hand painted scene of pairs of birds among leaves and flowers. Notice the rich detail and color execution. The scenes vary slightly and are complimentary. Even the backs of the vases are hand decorated. The branch looking handles of the vases are highlighted in gold. There is slight loss of the gold which is to be expected from porcelain from this early period. The vases are marked on the bottom but were unable to identify the maker. These are of great quality and are in excellent condition. 11"h X 8"w X 3.75"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1840-1850's.
