This Victrola type record player was made by Columbia with a patent date of 1922. This model is referred to as a Grafonola. The player is in remarkable original condition. The domed top lifts up to reveal the original decal which is in mint condition. The nickel plated reproducer or player arm is in excellent condition. Notice the 3 recessed nickel plated bowls for storing needles, etc. There is a separate stop/start lever and one to adjust the turntable speed. The player has its original crank on the side. There is also a metal knob on the side which opens and closes the wooden vents on the front of the player. This is actually the volume control! The record player retains its original finish which is in excellent condition. It is in excellent working condition having a rich sound. The Grafonola plays 78 RPM records. 14"h X 18.25"w X 21"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1920's.
