Here is a solid oak cabinet with a tambour roll up door and we have no idea what its original purpose was. It would make a great gun cabinet or outfit with shelves and store linens and towels or your computer printer. The possibilities are endless. Its narrow size makes it a plus! The oak tambour door rolls up and down smoothly. It retains its original key escutcheon and brass pulls. The lock has been replaced with an appropriate one with key. Notice how it gets narrower in depth as it gets taller. There is a door below which is hinged and drops down for additional access. Below is a drawer. The door and drawer retain their original brass hardware. We may be able to assist you in arranging for shelves or adaptions made for this unique piece. The finish is in excellent condition. The cabinet is extremely well made. 71"h X 31"w X 16"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
