This unusual quarter sawn oak hall bench is in the hard to find Art Nouveau style having distinctive flowing and curved lines. Notice how the top gently arches and the sides are curved. The original beveled mirror has suffered some silvering loss but is still extremely functional and serves to be a testament to its age and charm. Check out the original ornately cast brass, heavy duty, coat or hat hooks. There is a lift up seat with storage below. Notice the unusual sinuous carving below the mirror and bench seat – simple, yet effective. The hall bench retains its original finish which is in excellent condition having a warm color and desirable patina. 76"h X 43.5"w X 18.5"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
