This unusual brass and onyx stand was designed to fit in a small corner space. Its Victorian or Art Nouveau styling has wonderful detailing. Notice the ornate castings with pierced designs of leaves and scrolling vines. The 3 top finials and lower finial are accented with turned onyx balls. Each of the 3 shelves has an inset 8” square of onyx. Notice the twisted effect of the square tubular posts and cast acanthus leaves on the feet. The bottom piece of onyx has a small piece that was broken off and tightly glued. This is only obvious upon close examination. The brass frame and remaining onyx pieces are in excellent condition. 49"h X 16"w X 16"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
