This large, signed Japanese bronze charger is from the late Meiji period. The exquisite workmanship is evident in the castings and detail. There is a delicate border around the edge framing a scene of a snow monkey up in a pine tree battling a bird. The impressed signature is on the back and is extremely hard to read. The charger has a slight irregular shape or dent in one area measuring roughly 4”. This is barely noticeable. What a wonderful piece of art to grace your walls. 18"h X 18"w X 2"d, Condition: Very Good, Circa: 1900.
