This Mary Gregory style, blown glass, amber colored pitcher has a wonderful hand painted scene. This style and type of painting on blown glass using figures of children is often called Mary Gregory. The endearing scene depicts a boy and girl carrying a net and trying to capture a butterfly. The pitcher has a domed decorative pewter cap and thumb lift attached to a blown ribbed handle. The enameled painting is in excellent condition. The glass is also in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks or repairs. 16"h X 7"w X 5"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
