Check out this unusual lamp. The green and cream tulip shaped art glass shade is probably a replacement. The cast figure appears to be a gypsy woman or fortune teller. She has her arms outstretched and may originally held a tray. Next to her is a cast basket with a removable liner. She retains her original painted surface. She has a bandana, leg and arm bracelets and peasant style dress. She rests on a cast, bronze looking pedestal with a base that lights up. The base has 6 original green slag glass panels. This would also make a wonderful newel post lamp or smoking stand. The lamp is in excellent working condition with new fabric covered cord and period plug. 43.25"h X 9"w X 9"d, Condition: Very Good, Circa: 1900-1910.
