This walnut Victorian clock was made by the E.N. Welch Manufacturing Co. The clock retains its original 8-day movement which is in excellent running condition. The clock strikes every hour and half hour and requires winding once a week. The fancy carved case retains its original finish which is in good condition. The glass door also retains its original reverse gold painting of armor covered nights and horses which is also in excellent condition. The original painted brass dial has some scratches and loss. Check out the original fancy cast brass pendulum. Here is a lovely clock to grace your home. We presently have a hanging walnut shelf which would be perfect to display this clock. It would look great on a mantle as well. 23"h X 14"w X 5"d, Condition: Very Good, Circa: 1880's.
