This beautifully inlaid walnut Victorian center table is in the Renaissance Revival style. The large, shapely top has an intricately inlaid design of flowers and leaves using many different exotic woods inside and oval shaped medallion. The design is framed in a narrow band of Carpathian elm and another band of mahogany. The remaining top is covered in a highly figured burled walnut with a gold edging. The table has a lovely carved apron or skirt highlighted with gold incising. Check out the ornately carved base with the large central pedestal surrounded by additional carved columns. Gold highlighting is repeated throughout the base. The boldly carved curvaceous legs have applied carved rosettes. The legs have moulded cupped feet covering the wooden casters. The table frame is tight and in excellent condition. The finish on the table top has been revived and is in excellent condition. The finish on the base appears original and is in very good condition.
