This large, solid oak, multi drawer file cabinet was made by the E.H. Sheldon and Co. in Muskegon, MI. Imagine the storage and organizing you can do with this cabinet. There are a total of 28 drawers with their carved wooden pulls. The top 2 drawers originally had locks which were removed long ago. The top left drawer front has a small chip in the top, left corner. The very bottom left drawer has a 1.5" section of wood missing form the top section of the drawer front. Both issues are not obvious and do not affect the integrity of the drawers. The cabinet has an unusual locking mechanism, similar to a roll top desk. When the top drawers are closed, all the other drawers are locked in place. The finish is original and in very good condition. 81"h X 36"w X 23"d, Condition: Very Good, Circa: 1900.
