This pair of possibly French porcelain figural lamps has exquisite detailing. The 15" tall figurines are of a young boy and girl dressed in colonial era dress. They appear to be selling or serving food and drink. The boy carries a basket of fruit and is holding what appears to be a pear. The girl is holding a tray with containers and appears to be sipping from a glass. The attention to the detail on their clothing and execution of their hands face and hair is remarkable. Even more remarkable is that there is no damage! The figures rest on a fancy brass base. The lamps have been rewired and are in excellent working condition. The height from the bottom of the brass base to the top of their heads is 17" and the height to the top of the wooden ball finial is 30". 17"-29.5"h X 8"w X 8"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
