This 3 piece French mantle Clock is comprised of the clock with 2 garnitures. The set is made of slate and marble. The clock has a porcelain dial with an exposed escapement. The face with slight crazing and the original 8-day movement are in excellent condition. The clock strikes every hour and half hour. The case measures 16" long, 14" tall and 5.5" deep. The 2 matching garnitures measure 6.5" wide, 9.5" tall and 3" deep. All 3 slate pieces have delicate incised carved details with small inlaid panels of marble on their fronts. Look closely and you will see some very small nicks or chips on each piece. They do not detract from their dramatic presence. What a bold statement they will make on your fireplace mantle. Condition: Very Good, Circa: 1880's.
