This handsome grandfather or tall case clock was made by the well-respected New Haven Clock Company. The solid mahogany case retains its original finish which is in excellent condition and has strong architectural elements. Notice the peaked roof design on the cornice and the 4 square shaped pillars flanking the bonnet. The front door has a lovely oval glass panel. The door retains its original glass working lock and a key. The original clock face is a brass and silvered dial with fancy etchings in each corner. The ornate hands are original. The clock has a gong and strikes every hour and half hour. The works are original and in excellent condition. The base of the clock has a recessed panel on the front and elegantly splayed feet.
