This wall hanging clock was made by Grow and Cuttle, Chicago, IL. The handsome painted French provincial looking case has a wonderfully carved and gilded eagle resting on a fluted column with carved gilded swags. The 8 day clock has a brass face and bezel with convex glass. The works are original and in excellent working condition. The clock comes with its key and requires winding once a week. The face is framed in wood with carved and gilded ribbons and flowers. There are carved and painted leaves below. The finish and gilding is original and in excellent condition. The clock works has been professionally cleaned and oiled. 38"h X 14"w X 3"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1920-1950's.
