This large Jasperware cheese dome or keeper is in fabulous condition. The light Wedgwood blue/grey color is rich against the delicate white raised design of fern fronds and cattails. This is a hard to find pattern. The 2 pieces are unmarked and in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. These were used to store large cheeses such as stilton. They are also sometimes referred to as cake domes. 9.5"h X 12.5"w X 12.5"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1880-1900.
