Here we have, a nice, large, Fenton rosebowl in their Maize pattern.
It is satin, Ruby overlay, and was made for L.G. Wright.
This is an unmarked piece, and dates to the late 1960's or maybe a little earlier, and
could be the very early 70's.
Large piece, measuring 4 3/4" high, 4 1/2" wide at the opening, 7 1/2" wide at the widest, and
has a 4" base.
Crimped top, rolled in to make the rose bowl.
Nice satin finish all over.
Very good condition, but it does have a factory firing fissure on the interior a little over 1 1/2" long.
It is on one of the deep crimpings, and is shown in the next to last photo.
Factory flaws aren't considered damage, and this is a large flaw. Guess quality control was taking a break
and missed it.
It is hard to see if you don't look on the inside.
Still a great piece, and priced well below book listed price due to the flaw!
Great piece for a rose bowl collection or Maize pattern collection!
