Here we have, a beautifully done, Souix, Native American beaded necklace. There are 5 different colors of beads used, from the tiny white, blue, and yellow-green, to the pearl shaped beads, and the pink teardrop shaped beads on the bottom. There is no clasp. It is a pullover type necklace, with five strands of a medium blue tiny beads, with a center of the dark blue, white, and yellow-green beads, which is about 3/4" square. Pulled out, it is 16" long, with the sides being 7/8" wide, and the bottom larger piece with the pink beads on the end is 2" wide x 4 3/4" long. Very nicely done, and there is no damage found on the piece. It came from a local collection here in N.C. Great piece to either wear, or to add to a collection of bead work! Not ancient, but a beautiful piece!
