Here we have, a very nice, Queen Cutlery, Winter Bottom Bone Handled hunting knife with the original sheath. It is used, but in great shape. A couple of sharpening marks on the end you can see in the photos. The sheath needs some saddle soap to bring the coloring back, but is in great shape. These knives were made from 1935-55, and you date them with the dots. This one has 9 dots, and dates to the mid 1940's I think. According to what I found. The knife measures 8 1/2" total length, with the blade being 4 1/2" long. The blade has a saw tooth back, and the tip is turned up and has an edge on the backside of the tip. Nice bone handle, and it has a full tang, going all the way through the handle. The sheath is 8 3/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Nice early piece to add to a collection of knives!!
