Here we have, a nice Native American small clay pot.
Looks to have come out of a fire pit, with black soot all over it, inside and out.
Roughly made, utilitarian piece, probably made while traveling.
It has four ears, around the top, with a dimpled pattern around the body of the piece.
Very good condition, with no cracks or chips.
No idea where this one is from, but it came from the same collection I have been buying
It measures 3 1/2" high, 4 1/4" wide at the ears, and has a 3 3/8" base.
The clay is a little over 1/2" thick.
No idea as to what was cooked in it, or what it was used for other than to cook something in.
Great piece for a Native American artifacts collection!!
