Here we have, a very nice, U.S. Glass Co., milk glass butter dish in their Bryce Fashion pattern. Dates to 1891 according to my books, and isn't listed in this particular glass color in my books. The pattern consists of the Daisy and Button pattern, along with a ribbed pattern, and was made in their plant B, or Bryce plant. Hince the name. Great piece, in very good condition. There are two small nicks on the piece, both on the inside. One on the lid, and one on the base. Check the last two photos. They are about 1/4" long or maybe a little longer. On the base, it has the raised piece to keep the lid in place on four edges, and one has the chip on it. It measures 5" high with the lid, 7 1/2" wide, and has a 4 5/8" square base. Not found that often, and this color isn't listed in either of my books in milk glass. Old, and hard to find. Great for a collection of butter dishes!
