Here we have, a very nice, working, 1930's, Waring, Rocket Blender. It gets the name from the shape of the base and top, as you can see. Four chrome pillars around the side like fins on a rocket, with the top being straight, with the top cap, and knob. Excellent working condition, with the original cord. Runs great! The top glass mixer part of the piece was made by Pyrex, and is marked on the bottom, and the lid has a W in the center for Waring. The blendor base was made by Waring, and has all the information on the base as to voltage, and amps, and such. Toggle switch, with the metal ID tag behind the switch. The top is ribbed, and has a look of a clover from the top. It measures 16" high with the top and lid on, and is 5 1/2" wide at the base, and 4 1/4" wide at the top. The chrome is excellent, and the paint has some scratches from age, but still a great piece. If you were to paint it, it would mess up the old look. Great for a collection, or you could still use it if you wanted too.
