Here we have, a nice, early Gurkah, four piece knife set. It consists of the large, curved blade knife, with two small knives, and the sheath. The blade on the large knife is marked J.K.W. Identified as a WWII piece by a collector! Very nicely done piece, with the curved blade, and the notches just before the handle. The large knife measures 16 1/2" long, 2" wide, The blade is 11" long, and the handle is 5 1/2" long, with a metal cap on the end, and has two brass looking rivets. The two small knives are 4 7/8" and 4 5/8" long, and are 5/8" wide. The sheath measures 18 1/4" long, 4" wide, and is 1 3/4" thick, and has a laced wrap around it, with a double belt loop, and a metal end cap. Shows some wear from age. Very nice, old set. Came from an 85 year old mans estate, which was passed down to the grand kids, and was sold. Probably came home during or after the war. Great piece for a collection. Still a very sharp weapon!!
