Here is one that I have never seen! It is a small, 2" long when folded, pocket knife, with four blades. What makes this so unusual is that each blade is made from a different material. The main blade, or cutting blade is metal, but the other three are different. One is bone, with a scoop type end, the next is celluloid, and the darker one is wood. I figure the bone blade with the scoop is for snuff, but the other two I have no idea what they would be used for. Maybe cleaning the finger nails, or possibly a toothpick. The handle is celluloid, and the little diamond on the center is a bone insert, which is pinned or riveted on. It measures a little over 2" when folded, as you can see in the photos. Needs a little cleaning, and the celluloid handle has two nicks on the edge, which you can see in the photos. If you collect knives, here is one nice conversation piece! The blade has surface rust, but can be cleaned if you want to clean it. I haven't done a thing but open it and take the photos, and look at it several times. Makes you wonder, who made it, and what was it used for! Great little knife!!
