Here we have, a beautiful, multi colored, end of day bud vase from the late 1800's to around 1910. It is cased glass, having a white interior, with a multi-colored layer over the white, and then cased in clear. Ground top, with the base having a flame polished pontil mark, which can barely be seen. It is smoothed down very well. Lots of color, with white, blue, yellow, red, green, pink, and orange colors swirled and twisted to the top. It measures 8" high, 1 5/8" wide at the top, 3 1/2" wide at the widest, and has a 2 1/4" base. There is a small chip on the top edge, which could have come from the grinding of the top, or a light bump sometime over the past. It is shown in the two photos before the base photo, from the side and top, and I used a pen to show the size, as a pointer. Not seen when displayed, and is hard to see! Great, early bud vase for an art glass collection!!
