Here we have, a very nice, blue, salt glazed milk pitcher. Nice deep blue around the top and bottom, with the pattern being deep blue also. The pattern is Apricot, but I think it looks like Peaches, but what I found, all are called Apricot. No chips, cracks, or repairs. The flaws are from the manufacturing, like the firing crack on the handle, and a couple of rough spots where the piece touched another one in the kiln, and rubs to the blue coloring before it was glazed. Great early piece! Dates to the late 1800's to early 1900's. It measures 8" high, 8 1/2" wide from handle to spout, and has a 5 1/2" base. Beautiful piece to add to a collection of salt glazed items. The photos are part of the description, so check them out for the flaws!!
