Here we have, a nice pair of blue opalescent, Hobnail, stemmed vases. These were made from goblets. Someone crimped the top edge and made these whimsy vases. Unknown maker, with no markings, but aren't Fenton, at least I can't find them in any of my Fenton books. Could be Kanawa, or maybe U.S. Glass. You be the judge. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Lots of opalescence, around the top, and bottom edges, and all the hobs have opalescence on them, as you can see in the photos. There are six crimps on each piece. They measures 6 1/2" and 6 3/4" high, 3 1/4" and 3 1/2" wide, and have a 3 1/4" base. The hobnail pattern goes from top to bottom, with only a ring where the stem and top meet, without any hobnail pattern. Great set, for a collection of Hobnail pattern!!
