Here we have, a very nice, Black Hawk corn sheller, made by A. H. Patch Co., Clarkesville, Tenn., with a date of 1903 on the piece. It is in working condition. Turns smooth. The paint is a little worn in spots, and there is still some dirt here and there, but I didn't want to take it all the way down, and mess the paint or look up on the piece. Embossed all over the place. Handle, wheel, and case. I took photos of about all the lettering, but not all of it. It measures 12" h, 10" wide, and the handle is 11" long, with a wood grip, with the end of the grip having part of it chipped off, or eaten away. Heavy piece, weighing 14# without being boxed. The handle will have to be removed to ship this item in a smaller box for cost savings. Larger shipping boxes cost more, so it will be boxed in a one that will get it there safely! Nice piece, and in great working condition!!!
