Here we have, a nice piece of European carnival glass. It is called Elektra, and was made by two companies in Europe. 1931, it was made by Brokowitz, and in 1939 by Riihimaki. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures 4 1/4" high, 5" wide at the top, and has a 3 3/8" base. Deep, rich marigold iridescence, with lots of pink and gold hues. The pattern consists of whirling stars, and what looks like a star burst. Beautiful piece! Great for a collection! These aren't seen that often here in the U.S., but it won't break the pocket book or bank. Still a very nice piece!!!
