Here we have, a very nice, Royal Worcester, hand painted flat back pitcher. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures 6 3/8" high, 5 1/4" wide at the widest, and has a 2 1/2" base. Marked on the base with the Worcester crown mark with a 51 in the center, and a Y underneath, which dates it to 1887. Registry # RdN29115, and 1094. It also has another mark beside the crown mark, which is another crown mark, with four names around it. Two which can be read, Bank, Biddle, with the other two being partially there, and I can't make all of the letters out. It has four types of flowers around the body and on the spout, with gold gilding on the lip, base and handle. Beautiful piece, and in fantastic condition for something almost 130 years old. Great piece to add to a collection of Worcester pottery.
