Here we have, a very nice perfume bottle from the 1860's-70's. It has a painted on label, with quite a bit of wear, but some can be made out. I can make out, Queen Bess, Triple Extract for the, and then it gets to the mostly worn part of the lettering. I have changed the identification, due to having received the information from a collector, telling me what the writing on the bottle said. He had a perfect one with all the lettering. Many thanks to the collector. Great condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The bottle measures 6 5/8" high, 1 1/2" wide at the top, and has a 2 1/2" base, with the stopper being 2 1/4" long, a 1 3/4" wide across the top. The mold seam stops at the base of the neck, which is how I dated it. The top is applied, and the stopper and neck are ground to fit. Very nice, early bottle, with a good bit of the painted label still there!
